It will become evident in the following years that different interpretations might occur concerning the requirements of the Directive 93/42/EEC with respect to various approaches
of collecting and evaluating clinical data.
Therefore a working group is being established by the European Commission, which deals with the requirements for clinical evaluations/clinical data and is engaged
to develop a directive on the subject.
